Join us to launch Project Civility and help build a more respectful, connected, and engaged Carmel community.
State of Civility is a FREE community event on Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 PM at the Monon Community Center, bringing together Carmel residents, local leaders, and changemakers to officially launch Project Civility—a new movement to foster connection, respect, and collaboration in our community.
Gain insights and receive updates from Project Civility Founder and CEO Jeff Worrell on how the movement began and where it's headed.
Hear from Alexandra Hudson, author of The Soul of Civility, as she explores the idea: “What if we don’t have to agree?”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to get involved by meeting committee chairs and exploring openings in the following areas:
Marketing
Event Planning
Education
Community Outreach
Communications
National Civility City & Partner Relations
Fundraising
Volunteer Management
Enjoy community connection, fresh BeCivil swag, and a shared commitment to making Carmel a model for civility nationwide.
